During a fasting and prayerful time in January 2023 with the Heart 2 Heart Women’s Ministry, I had a strong feeling that God wanted me to share a very important message with His women. I kept coming back to the one sentence that captured this message: “One Thing.” I was powerless to get rid of it. Interested and looking for an explanation, I turned to God and asked Him what this recurrent statement meant.

Suddenly the Lord brought me to Philippians 3:13, which says, “Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it.” But I do one thing: I strain towards what is ahead, forgetting what is behind. Then His message became evident: “One Thing” was a divine directive for a women’s conference, not just a word. God told me “One Thing” would be a two-day women’s seminar intended to assist many ladies who were carrying the weight of their past. Their destiny as handed to them was being hampered by this load.

The objective of the conference was to act as a spark, enabling women to walk fearlessly into their purpose and shedding these responsibilities. I first jotted down the notion, figuring I would pursue it later, when I had more time and money. But I felt a burning from God in November 2023. Right now, he wanted this finished. Sensing the weight of His call, I assembled a group of H2H ministry women and gave them the vision. They firmly promised to back the planning process. It has been a big leap of faith, this trip. But I dared to trust God and, in this season, become a channel for carrying out His prophetic plan for women. More than simply a women’s conference, “One Thing” is a movement to ignite women’s passions to be God-aligned, God-driven, God-connected, and God-transformers.

Sisters of God, come along. You are registering for prophetic realignment as much as a conference. Joining together, let’s cast off the burden of the past and courageously enter the future God has planned. Loving and believing.
